ABOUT WIDE • THERAPY REIMAGINED

Building the bridge between ability and real life

Wide is a patented digital platform that helps neurodiverse children and adults master life skills through personalized self-simulation across any skill, any age, and any setting.

Why We Built Wide

We built Wide because children and adults have the ability to master life skills. What's often missing is a bridge to bring that ability into daily life.

Real life is noisy, emotional, and unpredictable. Even simple skills can feel overwhelming, especially for neurodiverse learners who process the world differently.

Wide exists to build that bridge so individuals can move from "I can't" to "I did."

The Science Behind Wide

Wide is grounded in learning and behavioral science.

Research shows the brain learns through repeated mental rehearsal in safe, predictable conditions. When individuals rehearse tasks in simplified environments, pathways activate, reducing uncertainty and emotional load when the task appears in real life.

Wide supports readiness, regulation, and generalization.

A Method That Works Everywhere

Wide isn't limited to one skill, age, or setting. It's a flexible method that adapts to what matters most:

Any skill: From potty training to medical procedures, transitions to workplace routines

Any age: From toddlers (as young as 2) to adults

Any learning ability: From High needs to minimal support

Any setting: Homes, schools, clinics, hospitals, residential programs, communities

Evidence & Clinical Validation

Wide isn't limited to one skill, age, or setting. It's a flexible method that adapts to what matters most:

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH): Clinical trials on simulation-based rehearsal

Children's National Hospital: Supporting medical procedure preparation and compliance

Shrub Oak International School: Ongoing implementation for transitions and independence

Implementation shows most learners show meaningful progress within four weeks. One learner achieved a 70% reduction in repetitive behaviors within two months.

Meet the CEO

Rinat Hitelman, Co-Founder & CEO

I am Rinat Hitelman, Co-Founder and CEO of Wide Therapy and a BCBA who has spent more than 20 years working alongside neurodiverse children and their families.

Over the years, I kept seeing the same thing: children were capable of so much more. I knew there had to be another way, one that did not focus on limitations, but on possibility.

Wide was born from that belief. I wanted children to see themselves succeed, feel that success, believe it, and carry it into real life. Today, Wide helps children and adults build independence through personalized digital self-simulation, allowing them to experience life as if they have already did it.

Using Wide proves that even in the most complex behaviors, where the child completely avoids a behavior, you can make a significant change for the child and achieve progress in a short period of time.

In fact, our experience shows that (almost) every challenge can be solved. So, if you’re concerned that your problem is unique, please contact us. We - like your children  after using Wide - are ready for every possible challenge.
